Tunewear began in 2003 with a very simple mission: to create for our own use the best solutions for using iPod in our daily lives.
Only a few case companies existed back in 2003 and we were involved in selling them. However, we were not satisfied with what we were selling. After extended use of early iPod cases, we found that these products protected iPod well but offered no real world ease of use. You had to physically remove iPod from the case or open a plastic lid in order to perform even the simplest iPod function. We saw room for improvement and began designing our own cases.
Started by the founder of the largest Apple peripherals distributor in Japan and having experience as a director of sales at Apple Computer K.K., Tunewear's founder together with the management and designers have a vast knowledge of all Apple products and markets. Tunewear products are designed in Japan and Hong Kong and our designers have backgrounds ranging from the fashion industry to specialists in CAD CAM software.
We hope you like our products. Tunewear has offices in Hong Kong, Japan and California and we take inspiration from all the places we live and work. As Apple shifts to consumer goods such as cell phones and home theater products, Tunewear is designing products that add additional functionality and design to these products.
